The company
Built in the field.
SPE Group opened its doors in 2001 as a three-person operation in Southeastern Michigan. Today the company supports utilities and municipalities with line construction, substations and foundations, maintenance and inspection programs, site access, municipal lighting, and emergency restoration.
SPE is a union contractor affiliated with the IBEW — the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers — with credentialed journeyman lineworkers, equipment operators, field leadership, and support personnel.
Alpha Omega Safety Solutions is a SPE Group company, leading workforce development and safety training with Jackson College and Lansing Community College.
